This is a safe space where you can be sad, angry, disappointed or any thing else you feel without shame or guilt. Tell your rainbow happy sunshine friends and family to STFU and hang out where people really understand you.
ABOUT V
V is for...
V (no gender preference) founded this site as a way to create a community for people who identify as chronically suicidal. This website is also meant to inform others who are curious about how to better understand and support people who experience suicidal ideation.
V is a certified special education teacher in NYC who attended Howard University for undergrad and holds several master's degrees pertaining to education and leadership. V is a current social work student at Columbia, studying to become a mental health therapist. V's interest is in supporting people in transition (foster care, incarceration, homelessness, etc.). V's other special interests include working with people with trauma and severe mental illness as well as forensic social work. V is a Harlem resident to the core-- very engaged in the community in various capacities. V has experienced chronic suicidality, trauma, and abandonment. This website is part of an effort to address the issues V's community and V have faced.

ONLINE COMMUNITY
At Living Suicidal Alliance, we exist in an alternate universe on another plane of existence where life doesn't suck so much. It's nice to be able to step away from reality for a bit and connect with people who get it. This is that place. Sorry, we don't have lava lamps and bean bag chairs. We also don't have bullsh*t and fake smiles.
